Jeff went to Denver Seminary and obtained a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree in 1995. While there he married May Liao, who is from Taiwan. Since, they have worked in Chinese American churches in southern California and NJ.

Ma has over fifteen years of experience in ministering to Chinese-American teenagers, and is the executive director of Eutychus Youth Ministries, Inc.  He is married to Wai and has been the youth pastor at CCCS since September 1995.
